Edinburgh
Edinburgh – Fertility Support Group
First Monday of each month from 7.30pm – 9.00pm
Description
KnotStressed has set-up a Fertility Support Group, for people just like you. Where you can meet others who are Trying to Conceive; talk, share, laugh, cry or simply listen in a safe, calm and nurturing environment.
We’ve structured our group so that it’s relaxed, informal and no pressure is placed on anyone to share. You can just come and enjoy a cup of tea and listen to others if you wish.
In the first part of the group session, there is plenty of time for informal chat over a relaxing cup of tea and coffee. If you wish to share stories, hopes and fears during this time you will be made very welcome. The purpose of the session is to allow folk to relax and only chat about their issues if they choose to.
The second part of the group will be led by Jane Evans, our certified Fertile Body Method and Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner, who will teach you different relaxation and mind-body techniques.
These wonderful self-help tools will help you to cope better with the emotional and medical challenges that you face on your fertility journey.
When do we meet?
Our Fertility Support Group meets on the first Monday of each month from 7.30pm – 9.00pm.
Our first session is on the 1st October.
The group is Donations-Based:
We ask for a small donation of £3 per person to cover costs. Snacks and hot drinks will be provided.
Where do we meet?
Sessions take place at our gorgeous new KnotStressed Therapies Clinic at 10a Blenheim Place, Edinburgh, EH7 5JH.

Swindon
Infertility Support Group Swindon
First meeting will be on the 22nd February 2018 & then monthly every Thursday evening
Description
People are often really private about having fertility problems and they haven’t told anyone else about the issue. When they attend a support group they may, for the first time ever, find themselves in a room full of people who all know how it feels not to be able to get pregnant, who all understand the mixed emotions when a friend announces she is expecting a baby, who all dread those questions about when they were going to get round to starting a family.
A Support Group provides an environment of safety and acceptance where individuals can learn skills and resources to empower themselves, share their experiences, discuss advice they have been given and, even sometimes laugh at some of the things that have happened to them along the way. The simple act of coming together can feel as though a huge weight has been lifted from their shoulders.
